Chantro AI

AI that does the paperwork, and shows its work.

Chantro's AI reads your documents, drafts estimates and reports, and answers questions about your company. Answers show their sources where they have them, and the big changes wait for your yes.

The spec book read into requirements, then a scope by category.

01Where the AI works

Inside the work you already do.

It is not a separate tool. It sits in each module and does the slow part.

  • Estimating

Reads the bid documents, drafts the bid.

It reads spec books, drawings and sub quotes, then drafts the scope, quantities, prices and schedule. A bid check looks for gaps before the proposal PDF goes out.

Each quantity read off a drawing, with its sheet and confidence, waiting for your tick.
  • Timesheets

Your paper form, as a digital one.

Upload a photo or PDF of the timesheet you use today and it drafts the digital form. A person reviews it and opens it in the builder.

  • Daily reports

Writes the day up, flags the risks.

Each report is composed from the day's tasks, photos, crew and weather. The AI adds a plain-language summary and risk flags. A person confirms it.

  • CRM

    A lead's history at a glance.

Calls, notes and meetings sit in one timeline per lead, and Summarize timeline gives a short read of it in two or three sentences.

  • The assistant

    Asks, then does.

More than a hundred actions across the app, from tasks and calendar to leads and projects. Deleting a task, project or calendar event, changes to people and app access, and edits to an estimate wait for your yes.

  • Voice

Say it instead of typing it.

On the web, talk to the assistant in English or Spanish. The same rules for what waits for your yes apply.

02Three rules

AI you can check.

Three habits built into the AI features.

  1. 01 / 03

    It cites its sources.

A scope line shows the spec page it came from when the documents give one. A quantity from a drawing says which sheet. You check the work in seconds instead of redoing it.

    • Scope activities carry a page citation such as SOW p.12 when the document gives one.
    • Quantities read from drawings carry the sheet number and a confidence mark.
    • Rows read from drawings wait in a review list. Nothing imports until you tick it.
  2. 02 / 03

It asks before the big things.

Deleting a task, project or calendar event, changes to people and app access, and edits to an estimate wait for your yes (a confirm card, or a proposal you accept). Looking things up needs no confirmation.

    • Deleting a task, project or calendar event, and changes to people and app access, show a confirm card with a clear description.
    • In an estimate, edits arrive as proposals you confirm.
    • Significant AI actions are recorded in the workspace audit log.
  3. 03 / 03

It learns from your own jobs.

Chantro compares a new price with what you priced on past bids and shows where you differ. It uses only your company's history, and it suggests: you apply the change.

    • A suggestion appears only after at least three past observations back it up.
    • Filling prices from history is off until an admin turns it on.
    • One company's numbers are never used for another.

See it work

It reads, it proposes, then it waits for you.

One request, step by step: what it read, what it wants to change, and the choice that stays with a person.

Proposed change

Waiting for you

Southgate Medical Office, Drywall

Old: Drywall total$42,600.00
New: Drywall total with 5% contingency$44,730.00

5% of $42,600.00 is $2,130.00. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

An illustration of one request: nothing changes until you confirm.

03Limits

What it will not do.

Some lines the AI does not cross, because a mistake on any of them costs real money.

  • Send anything on its own.

Nothing goes to a client or a subcontractor until a person presses send.

  • Delete a task, project or event, change access or edit an estimate on its own.

These wait behind a confirm card or a proposal you can read first.

  • Fill in an unclear sub price.

It is told to leave an unclear amount blank and say why. Check each parsed amount against the quote.

  • Measure unlabeled lines on a drawing.

It does not measure or scale unlabeled geometry. It reads dimensions, schedules and counts that are labeled, and a value it estimates is marked as an estimate with low confidence.

  • Mix one company's data with another's.

Each company is its own walled-off workspace, and the AI only sees the one you are in.

  • You can see what it remembers.

The assistant can remember things from your conversations. You can see everything it remembers in settings, and delete any of it.

04AI credits

How AI credits work.

AI features run on credits. You can see what you use, and you decide what happens when they run out.

See plans and included credits
  1. 01

    Credits come with every plan.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits.

  2. 02

    Bigger jobs use more.

A short question uses few credits. Reading a full drawing set uses more, and takes longer.

  3. 03

    Usage is always visible.

The AI usage page in Settings shows what the company has used and who used it.

  4. 04

    Add more as you go.

Buy extra credits when you need them, or turn on pay-as-you-go so work does not stop.

05Your data

What happens to your data.

A short version of our AI transparency statement. The statement is the source, and it governs.

  • 01

    Only what the question needs.

A request sends your prompt and the specific workspace context needed to answer it, such as the project or document you ask about. It does not send the whole workspace.

  • 02

Not used to train other companies' models.

We do not contribute your data to train foundation models owned by third-party model providers.

  • 03

    Stored in your workspace.

Prompts and answers are kept in your workspace so you can read and search them, and so admins can audit use.

  • 04

    A person stays in charge.

Drafts and suggestions are yours to accept. Routine actions, like creating a task, run when you ask and the assistant tells you what it did. It cannot change a plan, take a payment or transfer ownership, and deleting a task, project or event and access changes wait for a person.

  • 05

    You control what it remembers.

Each person can switch the assistant's memory off in their AI settings, and see or delete anything it has remembered.

  • 06

    Processed in the United States.

AI requests are processed at model providers' U.S. endpoints today. Region-specific routing is not offered yet.

Common questions.

Can I trust the numbers it gives me?

Treat them as a draft from a fast new estimator. Most point to a source so you can check them, and you should check each one before it goes into a bid. Our AI transparency statement says the same.

Does it work on any drawing file?

It reads PDFs, images and DXF files. It cannot read native DWG files yet, so export those to PDF or DXF first. It reads labeled, scheduled and countable items, and it does not measure unlabeled lines. A value it has to estimate is marked as an estimate with low confidence.

Is my data used to train AI models?

We do not contribute your data to train foundation models owned by third-party providers. The details, including what is sent with each request, are in the AI transparency statement.

Can I turn the AI off?

Each person can switch off the assistant's memory in their AI settings and delete anything it has remembered. Talk to us if your company wants other AI features turned off.

What happens when we run out of credits?

You can buy extra credits or turn on pay-as-you-go. See pricing for what each plan includes.

Which languages does voice understand?

English and Spanish, in the web app.

Watch it read your own documents.

Bring a spec book or a drawing set. We will show you what it reads, what it proposes and what waits for you.

Every plan includes AI credits, and the big changes always wait for a person's yes.
