The person comes first
An employee record exists with or without a login, and access is a separate, emailed invite.
Team and permissions
Every person is an employee record first, and a login only if you want them to have one. Positions on the org chart carry the permissions, so what someone can see follows where they sit.

Drag a position on the org chart and the access that comes with it moves too.
Pay, birth date and SSN sit behind their own permissions, apart from the rest of the record.
01Employee records
Add a laborer who never opens the app and an estimator who lives in it, in the same list. A login is optional, and comes by an emailed invite when you want one.
02Import and invite
Upload a CSV or Excel file and see every row first, with possible duplicates marked. Nothing goes in until you confirm, and then it all goes in together.
03Certifications
Record each person's skills and certifications with their expiry dates. A daily check sends a reminder ahead of the date, so nobody finds out on the day.
04Sensitive fields
SSN, birth date and pay each have their own permission, so a crew list never has to show anyone's pay. The screen hides what a person may not see, and the server refuses it.
05Org chart
Your structure and your access rules are one thing. Drag a position to reorder it or move it under another, and its permissions move with it.
06Roles and workspaces
Owner, Admin, Estimator, PM, Field Manager and Worker come built in. Add the positions your company really has, each with its own list.
