On your phone

Chantro on your phone.

The phone app has your tasks, your calendar, the assistant, notifications and a Time tab for the clock. The pictures on this page show Chantro's web app on a phone.

The Timesheets home screen in a phone browser: a greeting, today's and this week's hours, an Add time button and the day's tasks, each with a Start button.

On your phone at a glance

  • What you need on the job

Tasks, the calendar, the assistant and notifications travel with you, signed in to the same company.

  • A clock that survives no signal

On the Time tab every press is saved on the phone first, then sent in order when the signal returns.

  • The whole web app, too

Anything not in the app opens in a phone browser, and the field screens are built for phone width.

What is where

The app and the browser, side by side.

Two ways to use Chantro on a phone. We say which is which, so you know what to expect.

  • In the phone app

The native app is new. Ask us about getting it on your crew's phones.

    • Tasks: list, detail, create, edit and attachments
    • Calendar: agenda, create and edit
    • The assistant, by text, with attachments
    • Notifications inside the app
    • Time tab: clock, wrap-up and a hours-only week
    • Your profile: AI settings, memory and credits
  • In a phone browser

The same web app you use at a desk, at phone width.

    • The web app, with the field screens built for phone width
    • Daily report field review with one-tap confirm
    • The Timesheets clock and your week
    • The assistant with voice, in English and Spanish
    • Task boards and the calendar's full set of views

01Time

Start the clock from a task, wherever you are.

The Time tab lists your tasks with a Start button on each. Start, switch, take lunch and stop, then wrap up the day with your own form.

  • Start from a task or a project card
  • Stop has an Undo, and you can add time later
  • A weekly grid in quarter-hour steps

02Tasks

Your tasks in your hand, with everything attached.

See what is due, open a task, change its status, create one from the truck and attach a photo. It is the same task list the office sees on the web.

  • Tasks with due dates and priority
  • Create, edit and attach files and photos
  • The board view is on the web, not in the app

03Calendar

Today's plan on one agenda.

Events and tasks sit together on one agenda, so the morning starts with what is next. Create and edit events right from the phone.

  • Events and tasks together on one calendar
  • Agenda, create and edit in the phone app
  • The web adds day, week, month and timeline views

04Daily report

Confirm the day's report before you leave.

The field review fits phone width. The report is already written from the day's records, so you add what only you know and tap to confirm.

  • Quick adds for a delay, note, sub or photo
  • Weather, work performed and crew already in place
  • Works in a phone browser; not in the app yet

05Assistant

Ask the assistant from the job site.

Type a request and attach a photo or a file. It answers from your company's records, and asks before anything big changes.

  • Text chat with attachments in the phone app
  • Confirm cards for deletes and access changes
  • Voice is web only; text uses your AI credits

Is there a native phone app?

The native phone app is new. Ask us about getting it on your crew's phones. There is no app store listing yet. The web app opens in any phone browser today, and the field screens are built for phone width.

Does it work without signal?

The Time tab does. Every press is saved on the phone first, shown at once and sent in order, with the moment you pressed it, once there is signal again. A wrong phone clock does not change anyone's hours. Photos without signal are not supported, and the app does not send presses while it is closed.

Do I get push notifications?

Notifications show inside the app today. They do not arrive as system push alerts yet.

Can I use voice on the phone?

Not in the phone app. Voice, in English and Spanish, works in the web assistant, including in a phone browser. The phone app's assistant is text with attachments.

What do the pictures on this page show?

Real screenshots of Chantro's web app at phone width. The native app is described in the lists above, and its footage is not recorded yet.

Does it track my location?

Only if your company turns it on for timesheets. Then it asks in plain words, and a location is taken only when someone presses start, switch, lunch or stop, never in the background.

See it on your own phone.

Book a demo and we will show you the app and the phone browser side by side, on a job like yours.

The Time tab keeps working without signal and sends each press in the order it happened.
